New Charges for Teacher Accused of Having Sex With Students

A former high school English teacher in eastern Pennsylvania is facing new allegations from male students who claim she had inappropriate sexual contact with them.

Thirty-one-year-old Lauren Harrington-Cooper was re-arrested by Luzerne County detectives and Kingston police Tuesday on the latest charges involving two students. A 17-year-old claims he had sexual contact with the teacher in a car and a 16-year-old claims she exposed herself to him.

Harrington-Cooper was previously charged with having sexual contact with an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old.

She resigned from her job at Wyoming Valley West High School last week after those initial allegations surfaced.

Her $25,000 bail was revoked after prosecutors said she called and texted several alleged victims. She's jailed at the county prison on $50,000 bail. It's unclear whether she has a lawyer.
