A man has been sentenced to prison for attacking two women on a northeastern Pennsylvania sidewalk while bloody and naked, and gnawing on the head of one.
The Times-Tribune of Scranton reports a judge on Thursday sentenced Richard Cimino Jr. to between 90 days and nearly two years in prison for the September 2012 attack.
The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to simple assault and other charges.
Cimino told Wayne County Judge Raymond Hill he was sorry. He was under the influence of a hallucinogenic drug at the time.
Investigators say Cimino had stripped down and broke into an empty home in Hawley, Pa. in September, then was badly hurt jumping from a window.
Hawley is located northeast of Scranton and about 140 miles from Philadelphia.
Cimino also punched a paramedic in the face before being Tasered by a Pennsylvania State Trooper.
Authorities say he attacked the women as they walked down the street. In one instance, the man began gnawing on the woman's head.
Both women were able to escape Cimino.
