NJ Woman Makes 2nd Attempt at Bubble-Blowing Mark

The mother of an autistic child in New Jersey tried to break the world record for most people simultaneously blowing bubbles in multiple locations.

Isabelle Mosca of Ventnor had volunteers in 114 locations across the country, and as far away as Australia, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico Friday. They aimed to break the record of 34,529 set in 198 locations in England in 2007.

Mosca's autistic son, Kyle, loves blowing bubbles, as do many other autistic children. That led Mosca to use bubble-blowing as a way to raise money and awareness for autism research.

She got thousands to participate last year, but people at many events failed to properly document their participation as required by Guinness World Records. This time she took no chances, with detailed paperwork required.
