Authorities have accused a New Jersey woman of spiking her boyfriend's dinner with cocaine.
Twenty-nine-year-old Monica Cookman of South Bound Brook is charged with poisoning, aggravated assault and possession of cocaine.
Cookman's boyfriend told police his heart began racing and his throat went numb when he started eating.
Police say Cookman admitted putting two lines of cocaine in her boyfriend's food.
South Bound Brook Police Chief William King told The Courier News of Bridgewater the boyfriend didn't appear to have suffered serious injury.
It's not clear if Cookman has hired a lawyer.
