Authorities have charged a New Jersey man with child neglect after they said he left his 9-month-old son in a car on a hot day.
Temperatures reached the high 80s in Lakewood on Wednesday.
The child is in stable condition after he was found unresponsive and suffering from heat exposure.
Police say Pinchus Blachorsky told them he was supposed to drop the boy off at a day care center but forgot.
Police say the 43-year-old checked the car and found the infant after his wife called more than 90 minutes later.
