NJ Guardsman Arrested Again

Police arrested an Army Natl. Guardsman on Monday

Hamilton Township Police have arrested an Army National Guardsman for allegedly trying to break into an unoccupied home on Monday.

Investigators say Timothy Keefe--of Mays Landing, New Jersey--was going door to door in a local neighborhood, telling residents he was looking for work and money. Keefe allegedly tried to enter a home on Park Road when he was startled by a burglar alarm.

Police arrested the 24-year-old and charged him with Criminal Attempt Burglary. Keefe was also charged for the theft of two vehicles from Mays Landing back in October.

Keefe was previously arrested in September and charged with impersonation and theft after police say he went door to door, seeking fraudulent donations for the military.

Keefe is currently being held on a $25,000 bond at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Anyone who may have had contact with Keefe or provided him with donations is asked to call Detective Frank Schalek at 609-625-2700, ext. 567.
