A central New Jersey couple faces numerous charges for their alleged roles in a heroin distribution network.

Monmouth County prosecutors say the arrests of 30-year-old Vincent Laing and 31-year-old Jennifer Daly conclude a 10-month investigation. The Eatontown couple was arrested Friday, but details on the charges were not disclosed until Sunday.
Prosecutors say Laing is accused of leading a narcotics trafficking network, while Daly allegedly handled the cash proceeds under Laing' direction. Both Laing and Daly face numerous drug possession and distribution charges, along with conspiracy counts.
Laing remained jailed Sunday on $500,000 cash bail, while Daly was being held on $250,000 bail. Authorities say a bail source hearing must be held before either Laing or Daly could be released.
Laing would face a life sentence, with a 25-year period of parole ineligibility, if he's convicted of leading a narcotics trafficking network. If convicted on the numerous other counts he faces, Laing could be sentenced to several decades in prison.
Laing was also arrested on heroin possession charges earlier this year, prosecutors said. He also is due to stand trial next month on vehicular homicide charges stemming from a June 2009 motor vehicle crash that killed an 83-year-old Neptune Township woman.
Daly would face several decades in prison if she's convicted on all counts.
