Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash

Delaware State Police say a motorcyclist was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash near Newark and they're asking for help identifying the second vehicle.

The crash occurred Tuesday night as the motorcycle approached Polly Drummond Hill Road on Capitol Trail.

Police say 26-year-old Bryan Adams of Rising Sun, Md., was traveling westbound when the vehicle in front of him slowed and his motorcycle hit the rear of the vehicle.

Adams was thrown from the motorcycle.

New Castle County paramedics say he was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical condition with head, internal and extremity injuries.

Police say the second vehicle may be a truck or SUV. Anyone with information about the vehicle or the crash is asked to call police.
