Mother Pleads Guilty for Role in Allentown Murder

An Allentown woman pleaded guilty on Monday to third degree murder, according to The Morning Call.

45-year-old Terrie Callopy admitted to her role in a murder and attempted robbery back on July 15, 2008. Collopy allegedly drove her son Bobby Riddick, 20, and his friend Marcus Breeland, 20, to the Allentown home of 47-year-old David Walterick where they tried to rob him.

Walterick died that night after being shot in the head. Investigators say that Riddick and Breeland wanted to rob Walterick of marijuana and cash but they were unable to do so.

According to The Morning call, Collopy told police that she waited for the boys outside and that she washed their blood stained clothes with bleach and threw them away after they allegedly killed Walterick.

The Morning Call states that Collopy now faces 20 to 40 years in prison. Riddick will be sentenced later this month and is expected to get life without the possibility of parole. He was found guilty last month of second-degree murder, robbery and other related charges.

Breeland is charged with homicide, robbery and other related charges. The Morning Call reports that Breeland testified against Riddick during Riddick's trial, claiming that he went into Walterick's home with Riddick while Collopy stayed outside. Breeland also claimed that Riddick was the one who shot Walterick, according to the Morning Call.
