The Bucks County Courier Times said
Lizabeth Donahue apologized for the incident before Monday's sentencing.

Her son was arrested Dec. 20 after students at Council Rock South High School alleged he threatened an attack on the school because it was the end of the world, referring to the end of the Mayan calendar.

The school was closed and police recovered a pair of World War II-era semi-automatic guns in the teen's bedroom that belonged to his grandfather.

The teen admitted making the threats and is in a juvenile treatment facility.
