Roswell Friend, 22, went missing after writing "I'm sorry everyone" on his Facebook page. He was found dead in the Delaware River Monday.

The body of a recent Temple University graduate who was reported missing Friday was found in the Delaware River in New Jersey Monday morning, police say.

Roswell Friend, the 22-year-old who was a member of Temple's track team, was found dead by the New Jersey State Police marine unit in the Delaware River in Riverton, reports the Daily News.

The Baltimore Sun reported Friend wrote, “Sorry guys” on a note board in his house and posted “I'm sorry everyone” on his Facebook page before he disappeared.

Friend, who was from Cockeysville, Md., was captured by a campus security camera going for a run on Thursday night. That was the last time he was seen.

Police say Friend’s cell phone, wallet and car keys were still inside his house on the 1700 block of North Willington Street in Philadelphia. The only items missing were his house keys.

Friend's mother, Regina Friend, told NBC Philadelphia Monday that she was offering up a $2,000 reward for information that would lead to finding her son.

His mother said that Roswell was scheduled to interview for his first job on Friday. But he never made the 10 a.m. appointment.

“He wouldn't have missed it for anything,” Regina Friend told NBC Philadelphia.

    An autopsy is pending.
