Missing Student From Main Line Caught on Camera?



    Missing Student From Main Line Caught on Camera?
    This is surveillance video believed to be of missing Brown University student Sunil Tripathi just before he went missing March 16, 2013. On the left he is seen the evening before his dissapeared on the right a simlilar looking figure is seen hours later.

    A newly released surveillance video shows a man matching the description of a missing Brown University student who hails from the Main Line walking on a Providence street shortly after he disappeared.

    Sunil “Sunny” Tripathi, 22, went missing March 16. WPRI-TV reports that the video shows a man walking south on Brook Street near Tripathi's apartment on March 16 at about 1:30 a.m., about 20 minutes after his last-recorded computer activity.

    The man on the video is tall and skinny and is wearing a black cap, dark jacket and jeans, matching Tripathi's description.

    Tripathi's family has asked area businesses to turn over their surveillance footage in their efforts to find him.

    The Bryn Mawr, Pa., native was on leave from the Ivy League school but living in an apartment near campus with several other Brown students.

    His twin sister Sangeeta has been leading a charge to find her brother.

    "We hope that we can, altogether, find him and that he's safe,'' she said.
