A car that police pursued through the Logan section of North Philadelphia was found flipped over and engulfed in flames on the intersection of School House Lane and Gypsy Lane.
Police said they began pursuing the three men for gun violations. Authorities pursued the three in a vehicle through the 35th Police District. Officers said the suspects' vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and they called off the chase at 12:03 a.m.
One of the men in the chase died at the scene. Another 25-year-old man died at Temple University, where the third man, age 24, is now being treated in extremely critical condition.
No officers were injured in the pursuit.
