Men Attack, Attempt to Rob SugarHouse Winner

A man was assaulted on Saturday after having won close to $2,000 at the SugarHouse Casino.

The 26-year-old victim took a cab home to Cinnaminson, N.J. when he was struck in the head by two men both armed with handguns. The men then attempted to rob the victim who was able to wrestle them to the ground.

The men had allegedly followed the man from the casino after one of the alleged attackers overheard the victim talking on a cell phone about his winnings.

The victim called for the police causing the attackers as well as another man who had observed the attack to flee the scene.

After contacting the authorities, the victim went to the hospital where he was treated for a serious cut on the head and lacerations on the face and ear.

The two suspects were caught on security footage from the casino. So was the gold colored four-door Chevy Impala the men allegedly used to follow the victim.

The victim described his attackers as two young black males. They are wanted for attempted armed robbery and aggravated assault.
