Friends and family of two men who died during Hurricane Irene are gathering at a church in Hockessin, Del. to pay their final respects.
The bodies of Christopher Valentine of Hockessin and his friend Jean Baptista of Clark, N.J., were found Monday in a small stream that police say would have been swollen with rainwater during the storm. Both men were 25.
Police say they apparently tried to run from a friend's house to Valentine's parents' house during the height of the storm.
A visitation and memorial service were set for Friday morning. A reception was scheduled Friday afternoon at the Hockessin Volunteer Fire Company banquet hall.
Another service was scheduled for Baptista Sunday in Clark, N.J.
