After firefighters extinguished a blaze at the popular Melrose Diner in South Philadelphia, workers are finding shifts at another city diner.
The fire started at the diner on 15th Street and Snyder Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday and the business was evacuated.
No injuries were reported and firefighters were able to bring the fire under control.
The Philadelphia Health Department was called to the scene to check on the extent of the damage.
The owner of the diner told NBC10 the damage doesn't appear to be extreme and he believes he can reopen the business as early as next week.
While repairs are made, some employees will work in the meantime at the Broad Street Diner at Broad and Ellsworth streets, which has the same owner.

"It's just a load off my mind that I have someplace to go," worker Kurt Bunn said. "I really can't afford to take off."
Officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
