Man's Good Deed Gets Him Busted With Crack-Cocaine

Proving the adage that no good deed goes unpunished, a Trenton man faces several drug charges after he tried to save a friend from a drug bust.

Police in New Jersey's capital city say Yasin Wadly saw a friend being arrested for marijuana possession Wednesday evening, so he interceded. Wadly apparently told police to leave Stanley Berry alone because the marijuana belonged to Wadley.

After both men were arrested, officers found a gram of crack cocaine in Wadly's pocket.

Police tell The Times of Trenton the 27-year-old Wadly now faces charges including possession of marijuana, possession of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute and distribution within 1,000 feet of a school.

Berry faces a minor marijuana possession charge.
