Man in Fatal Bridge Crash to Stand Trial

A man has been ordered to stand trial on a murder charge in a crash on an eastern Pennsylvania bridge last fall that killed another driver.

The Reading Eagle says a Berks County judge upheld a third-degree murder charge Wednesday against 33-year-old Bradley Wolfe of Reading.

Authorities allege that Wolfe told his wife he was going to kill them both moments before his car crossed the center line on Reading's Bingaman Street Bridge on Sept. 5.

The car crashed into an oncoming vehicle, killing 24-year-old Lance Quinones and injuring his 7-year-old stepdaughter.

Kennedy allowed Wolfe to remain free on $25,000 bail pending arraignment in county court.

Wolfe said nothing during the hearing or while leaving court. Defense attorney Allan Sodomsky has said the crash was accidental.
