A man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed by his girlfriend, according to police.
Investigators say the 54-year-old man was involved in some sort of domestic dispute with his girlfriend inside a home on the 900 block of South 58th Street. The woman then allegedly stabbed him in the upper left chest.
The man was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery. He is currently in critical condition.
The woman was taken into custody but has not been charged at this time.
