A local couple who'd recently reconciled both died from stab wounds Wednesday night.
It may be a murder-suicide, according to New Castle County police.
They were called to the house on Charles Place in Southview by a relative who was trying to check on the husband, but could not get inside.
Police found the wife, 55, in the front of the house with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. They found the husband, 55, barely alive, in another part of the house with a knife in the middle of his chest.
Before he died, police say he did give them some details about what happened. They're expecting to release more information, along with the identities, sometime Thursday.
