Man Survives After Being Shot 11 Times in South Philadelphia

A man survived despite being shot 11 times in South Philadelphia Saturday night.

The 21-year-old man told police he was walking on 23rd and Moore streets when he heard the sound of gunshots. He was then struck several times and fell to the ground. The victim told police he did not see who shot him.

Police found the man alive and still responsive on the street at 11:34 p.m. Saturday and transported him to Presbyterian Hospital. He was treated for 11 gunshot wounds to the right forearm, right and left lower legs and right buttocks. He is currently in stable condition.

No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
