The driver remained at the scene after striking a pedestrian along Route 130 in Burlington County, New Jersey late Tuesday night.
A man was walking along Route 130 near Fairview Street in Delran around 10:30 p.m. when the car hit him, according to authorities.
The victim suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to Cooper University Hospital, officials said.
His condition is unknown.
An investigation is underway.
