Man Solicits Hit Man on Facebook: Police

Police say West Chester man wanted someone to kill the woman accusing him of rape

Police arrested a West Chester teenager on charges of soliciting a hit man on Facebook to kill a woman he allegedly raped.

Corey C. Adams, 19, was held for trial Tuesday after he allegedly offered $500 for “a girls head” on his Facebook page, reports the Daily Local. The woman Adams wanted dead was a 20-year-old who told police that Adams raped her June 30, police say.

The woman called West Chester Police July 1 saying that Adams raped her and she feared for her life after seeing the ad for a hit man on his Facebook page the next day, Det. Stan Billie testified.

Billie then went to Adams’ home where Adams said he would meet the detective at the police station. Right after the officer left, Adams posted another Facebook message saying “ he needed this girl knocked off right now,” Det. Billie said, according to the Inquirer.

The woman that Adams allegedly wanted killed told police that Adams cut open her jeans with a knife and forced her to have sex after she had three drinks at a party on South High Street and left because she felt nauseous and intoxicated.

Adams was charged with rape, kidnapping, sexual assault, and criminal solicitation to commit murder.

During an interview with police, Adams first said that the facebook posts were about his sister and then later admitted to posting the messages because of the rape allegations.

Adams is being held at Chester County Prison on $300,000 bail.
