Police are looking for the man who robbed a bag of donations from a New Jersey church, but the parish has the money back.
Friar Karl Koenig, of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Camden, tells the Courier-Post that he and two ushers were carrying a bag of money from the church to a nearby rectory Sunday when a man wearing black approached them from behind.
Koenig says the man wordlessly pointed a gun and grabbed the money.
The ushers and another parishioner gave chase and picked up the bag after the robber dropped it while climbing a fence.
Koenig says people still worshipping at a Mass inside the Roman Catholic church were unaware of the drama as it unfolded.
