A man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly slashed the throats of a woman and her son inside a Camden home.
Jose Flores, 30, attacked a 37-year-old woman inside a home on the 2900 block of Yorkship Square around 4:45 a.m., according to investigators. Flores allegedly used a box cutter to cut her throat.
Police say the woman’s 19-year-old son heard his mother screaming and tried to help her. Flores then cut the man’s neck as well, according to police.
Flores was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder. The woman and her son were taken to Cooper Hospital. The woman is in critical but stable condition while her son is in stable condition.
