A man is fighting for his life after police say he was shot twice and then dumped out of a mini-van in the East Oak Lane section of the city.
It happened Wednesday night on the 6600 block of North 12th Street, according to officials. Police say a 42-year-old man was shot in the thigh and leg while in a green mini-van and then dumped onto the side of the street. He was taken to Einstein Hospital where he is currently in critical condition.
Police say they recovered several casings from an AK-47 at the scene of the shooting. No arrests have been made.
