Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Chester. Officers were dispatched to 21st and Edgmont Avenue today shortly after 1 p.m. for a shooting report.
When they arrived, police say they found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say the victim has been identified but his name is currently being withheld until his family is notified.
Police released surveillance photos of the man who they believe shot and killed the victim.
