A 22-year-old man was shot by police early Wednesday after leading officers on a chase near N. 56th and Arch Street in West Philadelphia.
Police tell NBC10 that narcotics officers began chasing the man after witnessing an alleged drug transaction.
The man was shot in the arm and is in stable condition.
Police are searching for a gun at the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
