An Ocean County man was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly sexually abused a toddler and then streamed footage of the assault on the Internet.

On March 27, an Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce in Ohio began an undercover chat session in which they say they came into contact with Rodford Brindley Jr., 67, of Toms River, New Jersey.

On April 2, police say Brindley sexually assaulted a 14-month-old boy, recorded the assault and shared it over the Internet using a webcam. After identifying Brindley as the man in the video, Ohio investigators say they immediately contacted police in New Jersey who arrested Brindley at a home in Toms River. Brindley is charged with child endangerment, child pornography, sexual exploitation of a child and other offenses.
