Man Robs Wawa With Finger Gun

Police are asking the public to help them find the man who held up a Wawa in Northeast Philadelphia last Saturday.

The guy walked in around 3:20 a.m. on April 25, with his shirt pulled up to cover half his face and with one hand inside his jacket as if he was carrying a gun.

After demanding money from the Wawa worker behind the counter, the thief took the undisclosed amount of cash with both hands, making it clear he was just pretending to have a gun.

"Good, I didn't want to have to hurt anyone," he told the worker as he took the money, calmly walked out to his black SUV and rode off.

Police describe the thief as 5’7” -5’9” inches with a pale complexion. He was wearing a black skull cap, olive green shirt, gray jacket with black trim (turned inside out), black faded jeans, and black sneakers. The man also walks with a limp.
