Man Robs 2 Stores Within 24 Hours: Cops

Police are searching for a man who they say committed two robberies in less than 24 hours.

Police are searching for a man who they say committed two robberies in less than 24 hours.

The first incident happened Friday at 5:12 p.m. at the CVS Pharmacy on the 700 block of College Drive in Blackwood, NJ, according to investigators. Police say the man threatened the store clerk, claimed he had a weapon, and demanded money. He then allegedly stole $40 in cash and fled the store.

The second incident happened Saturday at Sunrise Florist on the 100 block of West Church Street in Blackwood. Police say the man once again claimed he had a gun and stole $120 in cash.

The suspect is described as a thin white male with a black goatee mustache, a beard and dark eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket.
