Man Kills Stepfather With Hatchet: Cops

A man was arrested for allegedly murdering his stepfather with a hatchet.

Police arrested a man who allegedly murdered his stepfather with a hatchet.

On March 29, Josue Rivera, 40, was found dead inside his home on the 2700 block of Tyler Avenue in Camden. Investigators say Rivera suffered fatal blows from a hatchet.

On Friday, shortly after midnight, police arrested Rivera’s stepson James Miller, 19, in Philadelphia. Investigators say a murder warrant was issued for Miller’s arrest on the night of Rivera’s murder.

An arraignment will be held for Miller upon his return from Philadelphia, where he is currently being held.
