Man Killed in Southwest Philly Fire

Philadelphia officials are investigating a deadly house fire in Southwest Philadelphia Saturday.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. on the 2100 block of South Daggett Street.

Firefighters found the body of a 50-year-old man inside the home.

The Red Cross is assisting five other people who were in the house at the time of the blaze.

Investigators say there were no working smoke detectors inside the home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
