Man Killed, Another Injured in Hunting Park Barber Shop Shooting

A man is dead and another hospitalized after being shot inside a barber shop in Philadelphia's Hunting Park neighborhood Friday evening, police said.

A 30-year-old man was shot four times -- twice each in the heart and head -- and a 24-year-old man took a bullet to the left shoulder at Aphillyated Barberz along the 600 block of Rising Sun Avenue, police said.

The victims were scooped up and driven by citizens to Temple University Hospital for treatment. The 30-year-old was later pronounced dead, homicide detectives tell NBC10.

The younger man was last listed in critical condition, police said.

No word yet on a motive and the shooter is still on the loose.
