Man Invades Home, Gets Into Shootout: Police

State police say an armed man invaded a mobile home in Dover and got into a shootout with a man inside.

The invasion occurred around 3:15 a.m. Thursday. Police say the man barged into the home and struck a 32-year-old man in the temple with a handgun.

The man retreated to a bedroom where his brother had been sleeping. Police say he lay on the floor to hold the door shut, and the gunman fired four to five shots into the door. The victim's 24-year-old brother grabbed a handgun and fired about three shots at the door, and the gunman fled without taking any property.

The 32-year-old man was treated for the bruise to his temple. There were no other injuries.

Police say they believe the victims were targeted.
