Man Injured in Wilmington Home Fire

Investigators say the man suffered smoke inhalation and minor burns.

Wilmington fire officials say a man was injured in an early morning fire today.

Authorities say the fire started inside a row home around 6 a.m. in the 1300 block of Lancaster Avenue and spread to an adjacent home. Investigators say the man suffered smoke inhalation and minor burns. A woman was able to escape from the adjacent home.

The blaze closed North Rodney and Harrison streets for several hours.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
