Delaware State Police say a man was hospitalized after an early morning shooting left him injured.

Police responded to a report of a shooting near a club on South Market Street in Wilmington at about 3:40 a.m. on Sunday. When they arrived, police discovered a 21-year-old man who had been shot in his lower body. The man told police that he was walking out of the club when he was struck.
