Property owners around the nation have struggled to control exploding populations of geese, but a western Pennsylvania man says he's devised a way to manage them without firing a shot.
The Somerset Daily American reports Sunday that Larry Crespo basically bothers the geese so much that many decide to fly somewhere else.
Crespo's career over the past 10 years has included managing deer populations at state parks and trapping beavers for the federal government. Six years ago he started his own trapping company, which will capture everything from raccoons, skunks and porcupines to woodpeckers, bats and snakes.
Crespo uses a car, a kayak and even a remote control boat to keep flocks of geese from settling down on the lawns and parks of his customers.
