Man Goes Missing After Car Crash Near 30th Street

Police are searching for a Philadelphia man who went missing after his car crashed near 30th Street Station.

Investigators say Gregory Andino, 38, left his home around 3 p.m. on February 2 to watch the Super Bowl with his friends at an unknown location.

Andino spoke with his wife around 3:30 a.m. on February 3. Andino told her he was driving and on his way to pick her up when his phone went dead.

Around 4:45 a.m. that same morning, State Police responded to a car crash at I-76 West and 30th Street Station. When they arrived, they found Andino's black 2006 GMC Denali.

Investigators say the driver side airbag was deployed and there was heavy front end damage.

Police say they also found Andino’s belongings inside the vehicle. Officials searched the surrounding area as well as local hospitals but Andino was nowhere to be found.

Andino was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with a white stripe or gray stripe on each sleeve and light-colored sneakers.

Family members say Andino is a father of two children. They are holding a rally tonight at 6 p.m. on the 700 block of North Franklin Street to raise awareness on his disappearance.
