Man Found Dead on Train Tracks

Authorities have identified a man whose body was found on railroad tracks in western Pennsylvania.

Officials said railroad workers found the body of 22-year-old Dakota Locke of Beaver Falls at about 2 p.m. Saturday in New Sewickley Township.

Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi said he died of traumatic injuries, apparently from being struck by a train.

The manner of death remains under investigation, but Sgt. Jeff Becze said there's no reason to believe it was anything but an accident.

He told the Beaver County Times that relatives say Locke had been using trains to get from Eastvale to the Ellwood City/Wampum area.

He said "obviously, it's very dangerous" to hop onto a moving train, and he believes Locke was either trying to do that or was on the train and fell off.
