Delaware State Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man found inside a Claymont motel room.
State Police were called to the Riverview Motel on the 7800 block of Governor Printz Boulevard around 10:30 a.m. When they arrived, a motel employee told them he went inside a room and found a man unresponsive on the floor.
Police say the victim suffered an unknown wound to his upper body. The man was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner who will determine the cause of death.
The suspicious death comes the same day a woman was found dead in a Dewey Beach motel room. If you have any information on either incident, please call the Delaware State Police at 302-834-2630.
