Man Found Bloody, Unconscious in Street

A married father is fighting for his life after he was found beaten and unconscious in the middle of the street.

Dysheek Jones says he was pulling up to his apartment along 70th Avenue in West Oak Lane on Wednesday when he found the man sprawled out on the street next to a parked minivan. Jones says the man was barely breathing, bruised and bleeding profusely from his head.

“There was a lot of swelling, real bad swelling,” Jones said. “He was out.”

The man was taken to the hospital where he is currently in critical condition. Police say all they know at this point is that the victim is a 47-year-old painter, married man and a father. They also say he is the owner of the minivan he was found next to.

Officials say he was beaten so severely that he is still unconscious.

Police continue to investigate. No arrests have been made.
