Man Falls in Campfire While 2 Teens Attack Him: Police

Both teens were arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Police arrested two teenagers who they say assaulted a man in a wooded area in Medford Township causing him to fall into a camp fire.

On Sunday at 4:12 a.m., Medford Township Police received a report of a victim who was assaulted and injured in the woods off of the Jackson Road power lines.

When police arrived at the location, they found a 21-year-old man who claimed he was attacked by two teenage boys. During the attack, police say the man fell into a camp fire.

The victim suffered several injuries, including lacerations, bruises and 2nd degree burns on his arms as well as his abdomen. He was taken to Virtua Hospital and then later released.

After further investigation, police identified the alleged attackers as Spencer Tomlin and Wassim Elsaadi, both 18. The teens were arrested and charged with aggravated assault. They were released on a summons pending a court appearance.
