Nearly six months are a man was cut down and a teenager hurt as they stood on a porch a man is accused in the shooting.
Philadelphia Police announced the arrest Wednesday of Joshua Raheem, 21, of Baltimore Avenue.
After turning himself in Monday, Raheem was charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault, two counts of reckless endangerment and various weapons charges for his alleged role as the triggerman in the triple shooting.
Gunshots rang out the night of June 6 along the 4900 block of W Thompson Street in West Philadelphia.
Police say a gunman fired off about one dozen rounds at a group of people gathered on the front porch of a row home.
"You have a male just walking up on this corner casually, knowing he has three people trapped on that porch, there's nowhere for them to go other than the house and just opens fire on them," said police Lt. John Walker at the time.
John Carrington, 21, who lived on the block died a short time later. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the back while a 22 year-old man was hit in the leg.

Investigators reviewed surveillance video from a nearby store during their investigation and eventually they determined Raheem as a suspect.
"This person is brazen. Obviously it's probably going to come down to some stupid argument that happened at some point. It's just uncalled for violence and these people just need to resolve their conflicts in other ways," said Walker.
