Authorities in New Jersey's capital city say a man has died after being struck by a train.
NJ.com reports the man was struck by a light rail train traveling north along the River Line in Trenton around 8:40 p.m. Thursday. According to NJ Transit, the man appeared to have walked around safety gates at a crossing.
No one aboard the train at the time of the crash was injured. Authorities temporarily suspended service along a portion of the River Line.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
