State police say the 70-year-old male victim was leaving the casino around 2 a.m. Saturday when he was approached by a man in an underground pedestrian tunnel that leads to a parking area.

Police say the man implied that he had a gun and asked the victim for his wallet. The victim did not comply, and the attacker took it by force before fleeing on foot.

Troopers got to the scene quickly and saw Jason Payne of Mullica Hill, N.J., running away.

Police saw him throw down an object that was later found to be the victim's wallet, with cash inside. Payne was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery.
