Man Charged With Manufacturing Meth in Home

New Castle County Police have charged a Newark man with drug and gun charges after they say they found equipment and chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine in his home.

Officers searched the home of 44-year-old David Mitchell Wednesday night. Police say in addition to meth manufacturing equipment, officers found marijuana and shotgun ammunition.

Mitchell is charged with manufacturing methamphetamines, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited and other offenses.
