Man Arrested for SEPTA Bus Stabbing

Albert Booth, 22, was arrested Tuesday night and was scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.

Philadelphia Police arrested a man accused of stabbing another man on a SEPTA bus last summer.

On August 18, police say Albert Booth, 22, got into an argument with another man while the two were on a Route 52 SEPTA bus around 12:30 a.m. on 54th and Springfield. When the bus pulled up to a stop, Booth allegedly stabbed the man in the face then fled in an unknown direction. Police say the victim was slashed from his ear to his mouth and needed hundreds of stiches to close the wound.

Booth was arrested Tuesday night and was scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
