The former head of the Montgomery County Courthouse's law library is in trouble with the law himself.
On Tuesday, the district attorney's office charged 62-year-old Bruce Piscadlo with mishandling funds when he was the courthouse law library's director.
Prosecutors say Piscadlo used more than $4,800 in taxpayer money to buy dozens of items including computers, laptops and printers.
According to court documents, Piscadlo worked at the law library from 1980 until retiring on Dec. 31, 2012.
The case was referred to the district attorney's office when audit turned up some suspicious numbers.
A preliminary hearing for Piscadlo is scheduled for Aug. 30.
