Man Accused of Exposing Himself for 3 Years Captured

Police say they captured the Upper Darby man the day after he exposed himself to a jogger in Drexel Hill on Saturday.

Upper Darby Police arrested a man they believe eluded them for three years.

Ronald Pierucci, 36, of Upper Darby was arrested Sunday, the day after he allegedly exposed himself to a female jogger on School Lane and Argyle Road in Drexel Park, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

“This time the victim was able to provide a license plate number of the 1999 Dodge Caravan,” police Superintendent Michael Chitwood told the Daily Times. “He was identified in a photo array by the victim."

The victim told police that Pierucci allegedly pulled his minivan over and leaned over to see the woman. When she came up to the passenger side window, his pants were pulled down and he was masturbating, according to the victim.

“This guy is a sicko. His whole criminal record, dating to 2007, is harassment and stalking and harassment by communication," Chitwood told the paper.

Police say that Pierucci has been exposing himself to teens and women in the same Drexel Park neighborhood for the last three years. The first incident was in the summer of 2011.

He is being held on 10-percent of $100,000 bail.
